Cooley Godward Installs Solar Panels at Palo Alto Office

Cooley Godward Kronish has installed 465 state-of-the-art rooftop solar panels at its Palo Alto, Calif., office.

The law firm is only one of a handful nationwide that have installed solar panels, according to a press release. The firm estimates that the panels, installed by REC Solar, will over the course of their lifetime save an amount of power that is equal to driving more than five million miles in an average-size car.

Business department chair Eric Jensen, a Palo Alto partner, said Cooley’s representation of clean technology clients has inspired the firm's lawyers to do their part to reduce energy consumption.
